Tucson Area

Hello readers.
Do you support murders or even slander?   Your answer is probably NO, right? It’s sad to say, but 90% of my readers and their family members support what a local convenience store has to say or even what they think. As a customer and local member of Tucson society, I REFUSE to support a local convenience store because of  their slander and the fact they had an opportunity to save a life and wouldn’t.  Thank you!

AmPm Vs. Erick's Memory

Some people have a lot of nerve talking crap when all they want is to make themselves look good. The manager of Am Pm Jaime Ott, has kicked people out of the store and the property for trying to keep the memory alive for a co worker and friends life that was taken way to soon. ERICK BRIDGES died and all Jaime can think to do is talk shit. That also goes for all the back stabbers that work there and don't have the balls to confront us, they are a bunch of cowards. The irony is for nobody knowing about the vigil last night and supposedly no family members of Erick's being there, let me clarify something, ITS HAS NOTHING TO DO ABOUT ANYTHING BUT ERICK AND FOR YOU PEOPLE THAT TALK SHIT WHAT ARE YOU HIDING? HIS FAMILY WAS GRATEFUL FOR WHAT WE WERE DOING. ALL DONATIONS WERE GIVEN TO CONNIE, HIS GRANDMOTHER. ALL EMPLOYEES OF AM PM ARE NOTHING MORE THAT SELFISH INDIVIDUALS. Thank you Connie, Michael, Jennifer, Uncle Jim and Christina. Erick is in a better place and he will be missed by many.

Police recover items belonging to suspect in store clerk stabbing - KGUN9.com

Tucson Police continue to seek information in the stabbing death of an east-side convenience store clerk.
22-year-old Erick Bridges was critically wounded Friday morning when somebody attacked him at an AM/PM  store on East Tanque Verde.  He died the next day.
Thanks to surveillance video from the store, investigators do have some idea who they're looking for.
He's a white or Hispanic male in his early 20s. He's 5-8 with a very thin build. But unfortunately, due to what he was wearing, we never get a very good look at his face.
That's because of the gray-colored hoodie zipped up pretty tightly around the suspect's face.
"He didn't ask for anything,." says Tucson Police Sgt. Chris Widmer.  "He didn't demand anything; he didn't take anything."
Instead, he went directly for the clerk.
"This individual walked into the store, immediately confronted the clerk, stabbed him and ran out of the store," Widmer says.  "It was seconds."
And just like that he was gone, as Erick Bridges lay mortally wounded on the floor.
A customer would eventually find Bridges and call the police.
Shortly after 1 a.m. Friday, he was rushed to the hospital, but would die from his injuries the next day.
Which brings us to today.
Why would somebody target this young man when robbery didn't appear to be the motive?
Did he have any enemies friends or family might have known of?
Is there any chance this was truly a random killing?
We're told investigators do have some promising leads.
We're also told they're still seeking vital information that could lead to a break in the case.
"With that comes time. We have to piece a lot of things together," Widmer says.  "If someone from the public can come forward with that information that can break this open and speed this up ... that's that much sooner we can get this person off our streets."
If you have any such information, you're encouraged to call 911 or 88-CRIME, the Pima County Attorney's anonymous tip line. Received from http://www.tucsonnewsnow.com/story/22379752/tucsons-most-wanted-convenience-store-stabbing

Domino's Pizza

Domino's Pizza

The other day I went to AMPM and ordered a large supreme pizza to share with one of the cashiers working graveyards.  Domino's was still open and expecting orders. The young man who took my phone order was very rude and didn't listen when I talked, he asked many question that I already answered, eventually he took my care number and told me the pizza will arrive in 30mins, he was wrong. We finally recieved our pizza an hour later, to make matters worse the delivery driver was rude and almost hit a customer leaving AmPm parking lot. After I opened my pizza, we were upset; the cheese and crust was burnt, the toppings looked as if they were wilted and bad even before they were bad. My dog wouldn't even eat the pizza, and he licks his own butt. After one bite, I called to complain about the disgusting pizza. The Manager said he would make another pizza and send it out, he hung up on me without getting my address. So I called back again and complained, the manager was rude, but apologized.
The second pizza came, the delivery driver dropped the pizza in front of me and with no works got back into his truck and sped off through the parking lot. The AmPm employee called the Tucson Police department and complained about the young man speeding, and almost hitting a customer and her small dog. As we opened the second pizza, we were imidetly upset, the pizza was burnt and toppings were missing. The box also had a male size foot print on it, it was horrible. I called back and he hung up on me for the second time. Since I was already upset with them and the next day I was very upset that my friends all were sick that night. Everyone had food posing.
As a former Pizza hut employee, I am so discussed with the customer service and the lack of empathy.
I will also be looking out for a young man who drives a white older truck with a red strip. I am surprised that he is a delivery driver still and that domino's is okay with the fact the cops where called on him. Its a shame!

I Love the Parmesan bites, but I will NOT be ordering from Domino's again. I would rather spend more money at Tino's that get crap service and food from Domino's.

I will be calling corprate and also we be letting friends and family know about the Domino's service and food.

Subway

 Subway
Thank you for the twenty-four hour Subway on Pantano and Broadway. I always crave fast foods late at night, but having Subway open I can have a healthy midnight snack. I want to say Thank you to Christian, for dealing with my sister and I while we decide to what we want and remembering that we get a discount for working at Iqor.

Little Caesars Pizza

Little Caesars Pizza
Its moving day and everyone who has ever moved to there new home has picked up pizza and beer for those very nice people who volunteered to move your crap from one place to another. A friend of mine was moving so, I ordered two pepperoni pizzas, two supremes and one cheese pizza with three crazy breads. I used to hate Little Caesars, but its been a whole hell of a lot better, I am happy that the sauce is better tasting also.  If your moving soon or just having friends over, order those wonderful fast n hot pizzas from Little Caesars.

Tino’s Pizza

Tino's Pizza

I finally ordered from this place a couple days ago, it was pretty expensive, but the food is very flavorful. My sister and I ordered Chicken Parmesan, Eggplant Parmesan, and garlic knots. I couldn't get enough garlic knots. Its sad, but I think I will just order garlic knots from now on.

My only concern was the time of delivery, the cashier said it would be 40mins, but it was about an hour and 30 mins, plus they forgot two items. Even though the delivery took forever, the food was great for the price, better than Pizza Hut.

Try them out at least once and remember the Garlic Knots are flavorful.

Chick-fil-A

Chick-fil-A

A friend and I stopped into Chick-fil-A for a quick bite before work, the line was almost out the door. The place was busy and the dinning room was packed, I ordered a chicken nugget meal with worlds best lemonade. I wanted chicken and this meal made my day.  My niece loves this place also, she asks her mom all the time if she can go to the Jesus Chicken place. The play set is clean and welcoming unlike some other restaurants. If you haven't already been to Chick-fil-A, you need to make a quick stop and pick up some chicken and lemonade.

Walgreens Pharmacy

  Walgreen's Pharmacy

I haven't needed to pick a pharmacy in a long time, I picked the Walgreen's on Tanque Verde & Sabino Canyon since its near my home. My doctor sent my prescription and information in on Friday 12, 2013. I was directed to pick them up Monday, I got to Walgreen's around 3pm on Monday thinking maybe they would be ready. I WAS WRONG. I was hoping maybe if there was a problem with my prescription, Walgreen's would call me to make sure things would be okay. Because of them refusing to call my insurance company and doctor, I had to do everything MYSELF. I'm not too happy because it messes up your body if there is a gap in your medication. I am hoping that this problem doesn't happen again other wise, I will be transferring my medication to Target or CVS.

SERVICE DOGS

SERVICE DOGS

I have a 5lb service dog, I carry him whenever I go to stores or out in the public. His name is Chewy,  he is for my PTSD and anxiety. I am one of the few people that has a service dog, I understand peoples and their bissnesses, BUT Chewy is my service dog. He is NOT some random dog. Chewy is a trained to not be pet by people, not to bark or pee or even lick people. Chewy eas trained for me and by me, he is a great animal. He MUST be welcomed into place, and managers must be poliet about having me and my SERVICE animal otherwise I will start to make a list and complain about the problems with my service dog.

My disability aren't visible, but it doesn't mean I don't need Chewy.

Safeway Pharmacy

Safeway

I love shopping at Safeway because of the staff and prices, but unfortunately the pharmacy is horrid. The staff is NOT friendly and does not give the proper care when dealing  with the medication. I will not be going back to the Safeway pharmacy. Target is so much better.. lol

Dinosaur McDonald's again

Dinosaur McDonald's

I know that I have already  reported on this Mcdonalds, but last night was my last straw and I am sorry, but I hate a bad day.

Easter with the family was awesome, but unfortunately I was hungry at around ten at night on my way home, so I went through the drive-thru. My sister and I ordered a chicken ranch McWrap. I really wanted to taste the flavors, but unfortunately I never got my wrap. We ordered around 10pm,  went through drive thru, paid and the young girl informed us it will be ten minutes so we need to pull up front. We parked up front to wait, we waited for twenty minutes and about tem more minutes later the teen manager came out with the food.

At this point, my sister was angry, she demanded out money back. The teen manager Ryan arguded with her and finally after a bit of an aguement, Ryan gave my sister her money back Ryans response was sorry can can you please come back again.

On my sisters way out she tripped and fell over the mop bucket, while the teen girl with short hair was mopping and not respectable to let my sister past  by.

I am sorry to the Mcdonalds staff and owner, but my family will NOT be going back to this Mcdonalds. We have given them a bunch of second tries and last night the last change. We will be going to the Mcdonalds on Broadway from now on.

Robeks

Robeks

When I lived in San Diego I basically lived at a Roebucks, I loved the healthy smoothing, so many wonderful flavors. When I moved to Tucson, I was upset that I could only find a Jamba Juice, and I an not a huge fan of Jamba Juice, since the flavors are a bit off.
When I visit Robeks I have a regular order Naturally Mocha and a lemon poppy seed vegan cookie. Its a nice treat after a long day.
My favorite Robeks to visit is the Broadway and Houghton, the owner is a women named Val, she is such an amazing women and truly cares about her customers needs.

El Con Mall Target

Target

After a doctors appointment I stopped at Target to pick up some items, I was in a hurry, but I in target  for two hour, because  of two employees who were very rude to customers.  Two young beautiful employees DID not do there job properly.  Both wew in the clothing area, one in women's and the other in the sleepwear department. The fitting room has empty, the door to the fitting room was wide open and neither employees were even watching the fitting room area. I dealt with the customers. I showed them in to the fitting room and told them where to put their unwanted cloths. I seriously think I should get a job there since I can do their jobs better than they can.

Reid Park Zoo

Reid Park Zoo

The Tucson Zoo is the smallest zoo I have seen, but no matter what I love it. It's weird I go to unwind and remember the past. I grew up enjoying this zoo. I play on taking my children to the zoo, when I become a parent. The zoo is a very good price, but the only thing I miss is the polar bear. Its my favorite animal. Its sad the polar bear died, but I pray that they replace the polar bear.

VooDoo Donuts

VooDoo Donuts

Last time I was in Oregon, I went to Portland to visit the worlds famous VooDoo donuts. When I got to the building, I was amazed that the line was so long it was wrapping around the block. I was so curious about the donuts, I honestly wanted only one. The cock-N-balls donuts. It was amazing donut with creme filling. The unique place has the most nastiest and unique donuts, everyone should at least travel and try these donuts.

Eegee's

Eegee's

This restaurant is amazing,  its only found in a Tucson.
I've traveled all over the United States, but no matter where I go, I always crave Ranch fries and a strawberry eegee from Eegee's. Normally, the eegee is is made with fresh fruit and very fruity; the subs have a unique flavor, all I can say is its the flavor of home a.k.a Tucson.

22nd & Harrison Walgreen's

22nd & Harrison Walgreen's

I live near the Tanque Verde and Sabino Canyon Walgreen's. but I go out of my way to shop at the Walgreen's on 22nd & Harrison because of the amazing employees. I was amazed by how helpful a gentleman named Bobby Ray was so very willing to drop what he was doing to help out.  After a long hard day, he really made my day so wonderful.
Thank you.

Dinasours Mcdonald's

McDonald's

I love taking my niece to McDonald's, so she can have fun and play. During my visit to the restaurant, I was upset with the lack of customer service and respect for the customer.

The girls behind the counter hugging and talking to their friends in the restaurant, the older manager in a blue button down shirt was not controlling the front staff and also being rude to incoming customer by not asking them if they were ready or even a Hello.

Its just horrible service and both managers also walked by a mess on the floor, an older gentleman who was having coffee with a friend got down his knees to clean up the sticky fluid on the floor.

Meanwhile, when we received our food, it was extremely cold, my niece had hard nuggets that were left untouched. I tried to eat my favorite combo off the menu, number 1,  a cold, messy big Mac. I also normally love the fries, but there were gross, very cold and yet very hard.

It was the worst visit ever

Some of the bad things I've noticed since being there:

  • The disgusting and dirty bathrooms
  • The over flowing trash cans
  • The smell of the place
  • The Dirty place set
  • The dirty tables
  • The floors
  • Terrible Customer Service
  • The cold/hard food
  • The fountain plugs, need to be clean.

I have complained a few times to management and I have also had a few meeting with him, but I will will honest if things in that restaurant, my reviews will be blunt and very honest and Its not to harm the place of biz, but people need to know the truth.

I am happy to say the new counter girl, Katie is sweet, respectable and it seems like she the only one working hard and doing more than her job requires. Thank you Katie

I hope This McDonald's becomes better and get their loyal customer back.

Freddy's

Today, during an adventure my sister and I decided to try Freddy's, it was a new place for us. As we walked into the restaurant, we loved the atmosphere and the way the employees say hello and welcome to Freddy's. It was such a warm welcoming feeling. We ordered our food and decided to share, the food was very flavorful and steaming hot. As I pick up the food from the manager was in the back making sure the food was correct and cooked to order, the manager asked how I was and I told him that this was our first time here. Ray, the manager just ask if I would honestly tell him what I thought of the food. After we were finished, I walked up to him and told him it was amazing, and that we would be back.

SO if your craving a burger in fries, forget in and out or a fast food joint, try Freddy's for some amazing onion rings or stop in and say hello to Ray the manager.

The Hidden Wok

 The Hidden Wok

My sister and I ordered from The Hidden Wok out of laziness one night after getting a flyer in the mail; plus they have free delivery. Our first order got Orange chicken with a kick, seseme chicken and an order of chicken fried rice. It was amazing. Another night, we ordered another larger order and shared everything family style. We ordered another Orange Chicken with a kick and two orders of Chicken Fried Rice, and of course a few orders of their heavenly egg rolls.

If you want amazing Chinese food, order from Hidden Wok, the food is amazing and come to your door piping hot.

The only problem I have with them is that they are very respectful and since on the phone, but the delivery guys are not, but because the food is so amazing, I won't let the delivery drivers put a damper on my cravings for their Chicken Fried Rice. Everyone deserves a second change.
